Finished nine years before the Civil War and opened in 1852, The Music Hall, now named the Orpheum Theatre has played host to some of the world’s most renowned musical talents. As the birthplace of The New England Conservatory and The Boston Symphony Orchestra, The Orpheum Theatre boasts such events as the premiere of Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto and lectures by Booker T. Washington and Ralph Waldo Emerson. Today, The Orpheum Theatre carries shows from pop artists and contemporary playwrights along with the usual theatre events.
On Saturday, November 14th, 2015, The Orpheum Theatre will experience BHANGRA for the tenth time due to the unbelievable success over the last decade!! It will be a night nobody will want to miss!
